The successful candidate will bring proven expertise in Endur, a deep understanding of energy trading back-office and accounting processes, strong analytical capabilities, and a track record of driving process optimisation and solution design. What you'll be doing Your main accountabilities will be: Lead the planning, delivery, and quality assurance of business analysis outputs within assigned workstreams. Own and manage scope and solution design, evaluating risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impact of proposed options. Design and configure back-office and accounting solutions aligned with business needs. Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to ensure scalable solutions that comply with Shell's architectural standards. Partner with developers and testers to ensure seamless end-to-end solution delivery and quality assurance. Support user training and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT). Provide coaching and mentorship to junior business analysts. Apply innovative thinking to solve existing challenges and identify new opportunities. Build strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective expectation management. What you bring Business Analysis/Project Delivery Proven experience delivering projects across the full end-to-end lifecycle. Strong business analysis skills, including the ability to identify business challenges, value drivers, and both functional and non-functional requirements. Skilled in facilitating workshops and managing user acceptance testing. Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders effectively across various levels. Experience mentoring and supporting junior team members. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working within Agile delivery frameworks. Energy Trading Solid experience in energy trading markets, with in-depth knowledge of at least one of the following considered a strong asset: European Power, European Gas, or Environmental products. Practical understanding of a range of trading instruments, including: + OTC transactions such as forwards, storage, swing deals, swaps, and basic options. + Exchange-traded futures and options, including full lifecycle management and cascading. Comprehensive knowledge of Back-Office and Accounting processes, covering: + Tax and Settlements workflows. + End-to-end accounting across the deal lifecycle, including MtM, accruals, AP/AR, and reserves management. Experience integrating or interfacing with SAP systems. Endur Proven experience delivering Endur solutions across multiple large-scale programmes. Hands-on expertise in configuring the Accounting Desktop is essential. Familiarity with the Tax Module and Settlements Desktop is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to not only configure the system but also make informed design decisions that optimise delivery speed, maintainability, and overall performance.
