Job Description
My client is a Financial Services markets business based in London with a global presence. The business is going through exciting changes and is bolstering its Internal Audit resources, seeking a Senior Auditor.
My client embraces flexibility in the workplace and has a hybrid working policy.
There is a genuine opportunity to be involved in the development of the function, including processes and methodology enhancement.
Description
- Support the Internal Audit Team in developing an annual IA plan covering the entire group.
- Follow the IA methodology and contribute to maintaining and improving the framework and methodology.
- Complete or assist in IA fieldwork.
- Provide constructive recommendations focused on internal controls and value addition.
- Prepare clear, concise, and timely audit reports with team members.
- Collaborate with the Head of Internal Audit to initiate new audits, engaging management, drafting audit Terms of Reference, and seeking approval.
- Assist in coordinating and executing follow-up on overdue actions.
- Support global coverage and independence by working with audit teams in other locations.
Profile
- Experience working for a multinational organization.
- Experience with share registry or funds management.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications; CA/CPA/CIA or working towards these certifications are highly regarded.
- Approximately 2-5 years of relevant experience in Internal Audit, including within professional services or financial sectors.
- Part-qualified or newly qualified auditors will also be considered.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective stakeholder management skills at all levels.
Job Offer
- Salary ranging from £45,000 to £60,000 depending on experience.
