SEND Teaching Assistant

Yorkshire and Humber/ contract / £95 - 110 per day

We are working with a number of welcoming SEND and mainstream schools across Sheffield, looking to recruit compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to join their teams from September.

The role:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND.
• Support children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and a range of additional needs.
• Build positive relationships that help pupils feel safe, confident and engaged.
• Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored support.
• Encourage independence while promoting positive behaviour and emotional well being.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience supporting children with SEND in a school or care setting.
• Is calm, patient and able to build strong relationships with pupils.
• Has excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• Holds a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
• Is committed to helping every child succeed.
