Required from September 2026

Grade 3 (point 3-4), term time only (Salary apportioned pro rata) 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

We are looking for someone to work with individual children. They must have:

• a desire to make a difference to the education of young children
• a desire to support teachers in implementing the National Curriculum
• an ability to work as part of a team
• an ability to support the needs of individual children
• relevant training to support.
• excellent communication skills

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role you will need to:

• Aid the pupils to learn as effectively as possible both in group situations and on their own
• Promote the acceptance and inclusion of pupils with SEND, encouraging pupils to interact with each other in an appropriate and acceptable manner.
• Monitor pupil responses to the learning activities and, where appropriate, modify or adapt the activities as agreed with the teacher to achieve the intended learning outcomes.
