Axcis Education is working with a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) school near Bromsgrove. We are looking for an experienced SEND teacher to support a KS3 cohort starting in September. The position is full time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm, with a daily salary from £160.
Responsibilities- Teach a KS3 class primarily at a KS2 level with complex needs and autism.
- Plan, tailor, and differentiate work to meet a range of abilities and SEND.
- Provide inclusive classroom support.
- Liaise with staff, SENCOs, and parents to support pupil progress.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous experience teaching children or young people with SEND.
- Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and differentiation.
- Have a caring, patient, and nurturing nature.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willing to apply.
- Availability to work full time, Monday to Friday (8:30am - 4:00pm).
