Hours: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum(depending on experience, not pro rata)
Contract: Permanent Term Time Only

You'll play a crucial part in helping children and vulnerable adults to develop their independence, build confidence, and achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities- Deliver tailored tuition:provide structured, engaging teaching that is adapted to learners' educational, social and emotional needs.
- Plan and prepare personalised sessions:create learning activities based on EHCP outcomes and individual targets, while keeping the content accessible and motivating.
- Support communication and learning:use a range of teaching approaches to help learners make progress with literacy, numeracy, life skills and/or key subject areas.
- Track progress and celebrate achievement:monitor learners' development, review goals regularly, and record progress in a clear and helpful way.
- Work alongside a wider team: collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent support, shared strategies and a joined-up approach.
- Promote wellbeing and safety: maintain a calm, respectful approach, ensuring learners feel supported, secure and valued.
- Experience supporting SEN needs, such as autism, SEMH, learning difficulties or communication needs.
- Patient and positive approach, recognising that every learner progresses differently.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trust and work well with colleagues.
- Confident with planning and adapting learning to keep learners engaged.
- Strong commitment to safeguarding and following policies and procedures.
- Full UK driving licence is required.
