Are you a passionate and nurturing SEN Teacher looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of young learners? We are working with a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Bedworth that is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their specialist provision from September on a full-time basis.
This rewarding role will involve teaching a small class of EYFS and KS1 pupils with a range of additional needs, delivering personalised learning that supports both academic progress and social-emotional development. You'll work alongside an experienced and supportive SEN team to create a safe, engaging and structured environment where every child can thrive. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher with a passion for inclusive education who enjoys adapting learning to meet individual needs and celebrating every success, no matter how small.
Key Duties and Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment that promotes independence, confidence and emotional wellbeing.
- Develop and implement personalised learning plans, ensuring teaching is tailored to each pupil's individual abilities and EHCP outcomes.
- Monitor, assess and record pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where necessary to maximise achievement.
- Work closely with the school's SENCO, teaching assistants, therapists and external agencies to provide high-quality support for pupils.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers and colleagues to ensure consistent support and communication.
- An enhanced DBS on the updated service
- A minimum of two years' UK teaching experience
- Solid knowledge of the UK curriculum
- QTS
- References covering the last two years of employment
