SEMH Teacher

Overview

North West/ temporary / £170 - 270 per day. TeacherActive is looking for a dedicated SEMH Teacher on a long term, full time basis. The successful teacher will work with students across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), delivering engaging lessons and supporting students with additional behavioural and emotional needs.

Responsibilities

Deliver high quality teaching for SEMH students, manage classroom behaviour, build trust with learners, and create an inclusive learning environment. Strong behaviour management and the ability to build positive relationships are essential.

Qualifications

• QTS or relevant teaching qualification
• Experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to build positive and trusting relationships
• A calm, resilient and adaptable approach
• Experience delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
