SEMH Teacher - Specialist Provision

We are looking for an experienced and resilient SEMH Teacher to join a specialist provision supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and accessible lessons to pupils who may have experienced challenges within mainstream education.
Many pupils within the provision require additional support with:
- Emotional regulation
- Behaviour management
- Anxiety
- Trauma
- Low self-esteem
- Social difficulties
As an SEMH Teacher, you will need to create a safe, structured and positive learning environment where pupils feel supported and able to achieve.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering differentiated lessons
- Managing classroom behaviour positively
- Supporting pupils' emotional development
- Working closely with support staff and external professionals
- Building strong relationships with pupils
- Supporting pupils to re-engage with education
We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about making a difference and understands that building relationships is often the key to successful learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
