We are looking to recruit for an exciting role within our Security & Resilience function. This is an operationally focused role involving maintaining high standards to ensure colleagues only have appropriate access for their roles, thereby minimizing potential damage from cybersecurity incidents.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently in the Identity & Access Management field and will take accountability for the day-to-day support of Identity tooling. The role includes direct people management of a small team of Identity Engineers and overseeing their daily tasks. It will also involve developing the team's skills to ensure expertise in operating Identity Management controls across the business.

About the role

1. Developing IAM Engineering, coaching team members to implement technical components of the Identity strategy aligned with Cyber strategy and overall business strategy.
2. Managing Cloud identity within the group, developing standards, and measuring performance against them.
3. Leading the Identity Engineering team in creating technical processes, procedures, tools, and metrics for Privileged Access Management & Identity Governance tooling to ensure optimal operation within SLAs.
4. Representing the Head of Operational Security in management forums when required.
5. Developing KRI reporting to assess the effectiveness of Identity Management controls.
6. Recommending tooling improvements, automation opportunities, and service enhancements to improve detection, containment, and eradication of security threats.
7. Managing technical risks faced by IAM, overseeing the control framework, and implementing the Risk Management System (RMS).

5. You understand Identity Management methodologies used within Financial Services to meet regulatory requirements.
6. You stay current with Identity Management best practices by attending conferences and recommending improvements.
