We are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Brackley that is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Science Teacher for an immediate start.

This is a full-time opportunity, with permanent and fixed-term options available depending on the successful candidate and the needs of the school.

You will join a collaborative Science department where high expectations, strong teamwork, and positive student outcomes are central to the school's approach.

The Role

As a Science Teacher, you will:

• Teach engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching potentially available.
• Plan and deliver lessons that develop students' scientific knowledge, understanding, and practical skills.
• Use practical experiments and investigative activities to make Science exciting and accessible.
• Establish a positive classroom environment where students are encouraged to participate and ask questions.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development.
• Support enrichment activities such as STEM clubs, science fairs, trips, and competitions.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share resources and best practice.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• QTS/QTLS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• A specialism in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science.
• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Science.
• The ability to engage, challenge, and support students of varying abilities.
• Effective classroom management skills and a calm, consistent approach.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A commitment to high standards of teaching and student achievement.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
