Long Term Futures are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join a small, friendly primary school in the Ashbourne area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment. You will play an important role in ensuring classrooms, communal areas and facilities are kept to a high standard for pupils and staff.

About the Role:
Working as part of the school's site team, your duties will include:
Cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas
Cleaning and sanitising toilets and washroom facilities
Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
Wiping down desks, surfaces, doors and high-contact areas
Ensuring cleaning supplies are stocked and stored safely
Reporting any maintenance, health and safety or safeguarding concerns to the appropriate member of staff
Helping to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming school environment

Ideal Candidate Profile
Previous cleaning experience would be advantageous, although not essential
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
Friendly and professional approach
Able to follow health and safety procedures
Comfortable working within a school environment
Committed to a long-term position
Previous experience working as a cleaner within a school, nursery, care setting or similar environment would be advantageous.
