SAP Solutions Expert ( SAP S/4HANA & BTP Solutions Expert)

We are looking for a senior SAP Solutions Expert to support us on strategic SAP and enterprise integration initiatives.

This is a long-term freelance/contract assignment where you will play a key role in defining, defending and governing SAP and non-SAP solution architectures in a complex, enterprise environment.

• Start date: 15 June 2026
• End date: 31 May 2028 (estimated)
• Workload: 1 FTE (216 days/year)
• Location: Brussels (near Brussels-South)
• Onsite: Minimum 2 days per week (Tuesday & Thursday)
• Assignment type: Time & Material
• Language: Dutch or French + English (all C1 minimum)

Role & responsibilities

• Design, present and defend SAP and non-SAP solution architectures
• Define integration, API, UX and end-user channel strategies
• Lead architecture workshops and contribute to RFP processes
• Create IT business blueprints, architecture dossiers and business cases
• Validate solution designs via Architecture Boards
• Apply SAP Clean Core principles and extensibility governance
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and executives

Required experience

• 10+ years experience in IT architecture, including SAP environments
• 10+ years experience with SAP & non-SAP integrations
  (S/4HANA, BTP, APIs, integration & security)
• Strong experience with executive-level communication and presentations
• 3+ years experience with:
• Azure Cloud (or equivalent)
• BPMN, ArchiMate or similar modelling frameworks
• UX design and SAP UX tools (eg Fiori, Figma)
• Proven participation in at least 3 strategic IT projects or RFPs, owning IT vision and/or business case
