SAP Basis Consultant

Overview

SAP Basis Support role - Contract role. Client: Coforge.

Responsibilities

• SAP Basis Activities: Administration, Security, Transports, Performance Management, Tuning, Patching, Installation, Upgrade and Migration
• Problem analysis, diagnosis and resolution, testing, documentation
• Technical management of third party resources for installations
• Experience of Jira in an Agile environment

Technical environment

• Related technology: Linux (RHEL for SAP Solutions), AIX, Windows, Oracle (RAC and Dataguard), SQL Server
• SAP Environments: R/3 Enterprise / ECC 6.0, BI, XI/PI, EP and SAP Solution Manager on 7.0 and 7.5 releases

Communication and Planning

• Conveys technical information at the right level for the audience
• Provides effective documentation and coaching in SAP technologies and procedures
• Logical and controlled planning, providing accurate estimates for Basis activities
• Capable of prioritisation, decision making and adaptation to impacting events
