Safety Manager (Contract)

I am currently looking for an experienced Safety Manager to support one of the world's largest organisations within the distribution and logistics sector.

This is a highly visible role focused on conducting safety reviews across multiple operational sites and supporting the deployment of new robotics and automation machinery within a fast-paced environment.

Key Details:

• Initial 7-8 month contract - Inside ir35
• Opportunity to transition into a permanent position
• Available within the next two weeks
• London-based with regular onsite presence required
• Extensive travel across the UK and Europe
• Supporting safety assessments, reviews, audits and operational readiness activities
• Working closely with engineering, operations and project teams during the rollout of advanced robotics solutions

Ideal Experience:

• Proven background in Health & Safety leadership within industrial, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, automation or engineering environments
• Experience conducting site safety reviews and risk assessments
• Exposure to robotics, automation or machinery implementation programmes would be highly advantageous
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at all levels
