Role Overview

We are seeking 1-2 experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Consultants to join a fast-paced international project delivering enterprise planning solutions. This is a fully remote contract opportunity across Europe for consultants who can operate independently and take ownership of delivery from day one.

The ideal consultant will have hands-on SAC Planning implementation experience, including at least one full end-to-end deployment, and be comfortable working in high-pressure delivery environments with tight timelines.

This role is focused purely on SAC Planning - SAC Reporting experience alone is not sufficient.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and implement SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning solutions
• Translate business requirements into scalable planning models and technical designs
• Build planning applications, data actions, allocations, and workflows
• Develop and maintain planning models and data flows
• Work directly with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
• Take ownership of deliverables and ensure on-time delivery
• Operate independently with minimal supervision
• Support solution optimisation and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional SAP and business teams

Required Skills & Experience

Essential

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning
• At least one full end-to-end SAC Planning implementation
• Experience designing planning models and planning applications
• Strong understanding of planning processes and business requirements gathering
• Ability to bridge functional and technical discussions
• Experience working in fast-paced delivery environments
• Strong stakeholder communication skills
• Self-driven and capable of working autonomously
• Fluent English communication skills

Nice to Have

• SAP BW/BW4HANA integration experience
• SAP S/4HANA integration knowledge
• Experience with financial planning, forecasting, or budgeting processes
• Experience with Data Actions, Allocations, and Advanced Formulas
• Exposure to agile project delivery methodologies

Important Notes

• SAC Reporting is explicitly out of scope
• This is a delivery-focused role requiring strong ownership and independence
• Consultants must be comfortable working under tight timelines and delivery pressure
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential
