Job Description:

This role is a Functional Digital Technologies Lead driving change and transformation within Royal Canin Europe. The successful candidate will partner with Global or Regional/Functional Segment leaders and their teams to define the RC Digital Strategy and oversee a portfolio of high-value change initiatives within Europe. The role involves building strong partnerships across Functional and Digital teams and influencing key stakeholders. The Lead is accountable for all Digital Technologies deliveries supporting the Value Chain Operations (VCO) Functional area within Royal Canin Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership & Strategic Collaboration:

• Align and execute the Supply Chain and VCO digital technology strategy with senior leaders across Royal Canin Europe.
• Act as a strategic advisor, identifying challenges and opportunities, and leveraging digital solutions for measurable outcomes.
• Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to achieve strategic goals.
• Champion digital transformation initiatives, influencing leadership to embrace innovation and continuous improvement.

Digital Expertise & Innovation:

• Serve as a subject matter expert in digital solutions within Supply Chain and VCO, providing strategic guidance.
• Identify opportunities for digital innovation, introducing best practices and emerging technologies.
• Foster a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.

Digital Roadmap & Execution:

• Drive and prioritize the digital roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
• Translate business demands into IT requirements and project proposals.
• Collaborate with global teams and external partners for successful project delivery.
• Oversee project portfolios, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
• Report on project status, risks, and achievements to senior management.

Digital Operations & Optimization:

• Ensure governance, compliance, and operational support for digital solutions.
• Drive simplification and standardization to enhance adoption and effectiveness.
• Monitor and evaluate digital solutions, gathering feedback for improvements.

Compliance & Governance:

• Ensure all initiatives comply with policies, principles, and regulations.
• Participate in governance forums to uphold frameworks and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (preferably in Digital Technology/IT); MBA or Master's in Business is desirable.
• Minimum 5 years in a Digital Tech-related role, depending on scope.
• Customer-focused with proven relationship-building skills with business and digital teams.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to educate non-technical leadership.
• Deep understanding of business processes and related technology.
• Learning agility and enthusiasm for new technologies and business areas.
• Experience working with senior management and influencing in matrix organizations.
