Our Client is a large scale company seeking a talented Roads Design Engineer to join their multidisciplinary Team in Dublin. They operate on a wide scale of projects across Ireland e.g. National Roads, Highways, Motorway Junctions.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in a consultancy environment in UK/Ireland.
• Educated to degree level in engineering (Level 8/9).
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status.
• Computer literate and with experience of relevant design software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads etc).
• Excellent communicational skills in written & spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs for new roads, highways, and transportation networks.
• Use design software and other engineering tools for accurate road layout and alignment.
• Ensure designs comply with local, state, and national standards and regulations.
• Develop effective drainage systems to manage surface water runoff and prevent road damage.
• Integrate culverts, gutters, and stormwater management solutions into the roadway design.
