RF Applications Engineer

Responsibilities- Become an RF product expert that will interface with customers and field applications to solve challenging design problems.
- Provide timely responses to customer and FAE questions.
- Support customer design in activities and resolve challenging design problems.
- Develop datasheets, user guides, evaluation boards, and application notes for supported products.
- Develop technical training material for field application engineers.
- Develop an in depth understanding of customer applications and convert this into inputs for new product definitions.
- Perform measurements in the lab and develop python based scripts for data capture.
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
- Hands on experience with silicon evaluation.
- Hands on experience with test instruments such as Spectrum Analyzers, Phase Noise Analyzers, and Vector Network Analyzers.
- Hands on programming experience in Python, C, C++, or C#.
- Some knowledge of programmable logic (FPGA) and SoC development is a plus.
- Excellent presentation and technical writing skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
