RF-2606-28 - Cleaning Supervisor

Mount Charles Group is one of the largest and privately owned soft facilities management, catering and ancillary service/product providers in Ireland. We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our team based at ICC Waterfront Hall, Belfast.

Working Pattern

• 40 hours per week
• Days will vary - evenings and weekends
• Event shifts: 16 00, 18 00, 18 00

The Role

• Contract auditing - carry out quality audits as per schedule and company policy
• Client contact - meet with clients as per schedule
• Assist with payroll when needed
• Check staff uniforms
• Assist the operations manager with induction training - all new starts and staff moving sites must receive induction training as per induction training list
• Ensure all members of staff are completing their roles to the best of their ability, checking each area on an ad hoc basis
• Ensure all areas are fully stocked (toiletries, soap dispensers)
• Keep own store area clean, tidy, colour coded and up to spec
• Fully flexible approach required
• Holiday cover - assist the supervisor with approving or rejecting holiday requests as per staff engagement app, cover sickness
• Stock ordering
• Comply with all health, safety & hygiene standards
• Comply with HACCP regulations as necessary
• Full compliance with COSHH and colour coding
• Ensure all clothing, footwear and personal hygiene meet company guidelines at all times
• Daily staff management

The Person

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• NVQ/SVQ Level One in cleaning building interiors an advantage but not essential
• Previous work experience in customer service employment
• Current BICS qualifications
• Basic statutory training - candidates must have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to understand safety instructions and communicate with customers on a day to day basis
