What you'll be doing:Are you passionate about improving outcomes for children, young people and families? Do you enjoy working collaboratively with schools, childcare providers and community partners to develop high-quality services?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Early Years & School Age Development Officer to support the development, sustainability and quality of early years, childcare, wraparound and holiday provision across Slough.
In this varied role, you will help deliver projects and programmes that support childcare sufficiency and market development, including wraparound childcare initiatives and the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme. Working closely with providers, schools, family hubs and key stakeholders, you will assist with market analysis, project delivery, consultation activities, monitoring and reporting, and the promotion of childcare services across the borough.

Annual increments, where applicable, are usually payable on 1 April, subject to six months' service and satisfactory performance, until the maximum spinal column point is reached.
