This is a well-regarded and forward-thinking retail brand known for its strong operational policies and commitment to best practices, ensuring consistent performance and a healthy work environment. The store is a compact yet well-equipped convenience outlet, modern spec, staffed by up to 15 skilled employees, including a busy and successful deli counter that accounts for almost 50% of trade. The store is located on a great commuter belt, 20 minutes away from City Centre and 35 minutes away from Skerries. Our client is seeking a professional candidate with 2-3 years of experience in managing a Big Box store or large retail environment as a Duty Manager or Assistant Manager. A suitable candidate will have a keen eye for details, knowledge of P&L, sales and margins, and supervising different departments. The role requires a hands-on approach in the store, resolving customer and staff queries, inventory control, merchandising and staff training. Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring it runs efficiently, safely, and delivers an excellent customer experience.
• Maintain exceptional standards across merchandising, customer service, cleanliness, and food safety.
• Manage stock control, ordering, and inventory to maximise availability while minimising waste.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement action plans to continuously improve store performance.
• Handle employee relations, performance management, and workplace issues in a fair, professional, and timely manner.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and support the successful delivery of promotions and seasonal initiatives.
• Lead by example, motivating your team to consistently deliver outstanding customer service and operational excellence.

Requirements for Retail Store Manager Dublin 13

• Have proven 2-3 years of experience managing a busy retail grocery or food retail operation.
• Have excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Be commercially minded, always looking for opportunities to increase sales, improve margins, and control costs.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and create a positive shopping experience for every customer.
• Have experience managing budgets, KPIs, labour costs, and departmental performance.
• Have a solid understanding of employment law, Health & Safety, HACCP, and consumer regulations, ensuring the highest standards are maintained at all times.
• Be flexible, hands-on, and committed to driving the continued success and growth of the business.
