Job Description
Responsibilities 
- Ensure high customer service standards, manage store operations, oversee staff performance, handle cash desk transactions, maintain merchandising standards, and achieve financial and operational goals while adhering to company policies and safety regulations.
- Drive and achieve sales, KPIs, and profitability goals by offering and showing products to customers, assisting them in choosing products, consulting on product purposes, properties, quality, care rules, prices, offering substitutes, new, and related products, calculating purchase costs, issuing receipts, preparing documents, packing purchases, and handling exchanges.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and engagement on the sales floor. Take measures to prevent and resolve conflict situations. Foster effective communication within the team and with other departments.
- Spend 90% of time on the sales floor engaging with customers and coaching employees.
- Assist in recruiting, training, developing, and managing store staff; motivate and encourage retail sales staff to achieve sales targets.
- Process POS transactions (sales, exchanges, discounts, refunds) accurately in compliance with Retail P&Ps; identify, interpret, and diagnose store performance based on controllable operational KPIs (CR, UPT, ATV).
- Oversee loss prevention and ensure operational compliance.
- Achieve or exceed inventory and shrink goals; manage physical inventory counts.
- Handle incoming and outgoing merchandise, communicate opportunities; ensure the store's visual presentation meets or exceeds PUMA VM standards.
- Prepare and analyze sales reports; provide insights to improve performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Sales profitability management, analytical abilities and experience in preparing and analyzing sales reports.
- Ability to interpret and diagnose store performance based on controllable operational KPIs (CR, UPT, ATV).
- Product knowledge: understanding product purposes, properties, quality, care rules, and prices; ability to offer substitutes, new and related products.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, fostering effective communication within the team and with other departments.
- Experience in engaging with customers and coaching employees on the sales floor.
- Capability to manage sales floor stock, ensuring sizes and styles are available to customers.
- Visual and presentation skills to uphold store visual merchandising standards.
- Self leadership: ability to work independently, manage emotions, and handle challenges effectively.
- Proficiency in retail software, inventory management and POS systems.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements, company policies, and procedures.
- Experience in inventory and merchandise management, including handling inventory counts and shrink goals.
- Managing payroll and ensuring profitability of store operations (if applicable).
