Hours: NumberOfHours hours across NumberOfDays days per week.

Pay: £10.95- £12.81 per hour.

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Carlisle, Cumbria. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of NumberOfHours hours worked over NumberOfDays days from 7 each week, including weekends.

Please note that this position will require you to be available for shifts starting early in the morning. This position may not be suitable for you if you are not available for early morning work.

Pay & Benefits

The amount that you will earn depends on your age:

• Ages 16-20 = £10.95 per hour
• Ages 21+ = £12.81 per hour

Responsibilities

• Make all of our customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items that they are looking for.
• Give fast and friendly service at the tills, always offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care whilst working deliveries, quickly placing products into our freezers and onto our shelves ready for our customers to buy.
• Work with the rest of your team to complete the daily and weekly routines that keep our shops safe, clean and tidy.

Qualifications

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy and be able to juggle multiple tasks such as deliveries, till service, customer assistance and cleaning.
• Reliability - you are an important part of a small team and must not let the team down.
• Flexibility with shift changes; rota's are planned three weeks in advance with consideration of personal commitments.
• Successful completion of an Employment Verification check if offered the advertised position.
