Job Description
Restart Advisor Birmingham
Salary: Starting salary £28,325 per annum. Raising to £30,325 subject to meeting key operational performance requirements (to be discussed further at interview).
Contract: Permanent
Full Time: 37.5 hours (Monday - Friday 09:00-17:00)
Location: Birmingham office
- Collaborate with participants through diagnostic assessments to identify barriers and create action plans that shift mindsets and outline the steps needed to secure meaningful employment.
- Meet and exceed performance targets by continuously improving strategies and seeking input to deliver the best outcomes for participants and the wider community.
- Understand and signpost participants to internal and external services addressing needs such as debt management, mental health, and career coaching.
- Ensure participants have well crafted, professional CVs, tailored supporting statements, and cover letters to aid job searches.
- Prepare participants for interviews by conducting mock interviews and assessment activities, and help them build confidence.
- Maintain accurate electronic participant records that reflect the full range of support offered, from coaching through to employment placement, within required timescales and to required standards.
- Attend face to face meetings at the office when required.
- Experience working in very busy environments.
- Ability to motivate, inspire, and challenge participants to achieve their fullest potential.
- Strong track record of delivering against and exceeding performance targets and engaging participants in personal growth and mindset transformation.
- Exceptional communication skills-able to inspire and influence participants while addressing diverse needs with flexibility, robustness, and creativity; also contact employers and other stakeholders to identify opportunities.
- Flexible and creative in solving complex challenges.
- High level digital literacy.
- Excellent organisational skills-able to manage a varied caseload and deliver exceptional support while juggling multiple priorities.
