Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working with a leading training provider to recruit an experienced Residential Childcare Tutor on a fixed-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality residential childcare qualifications, supporting learners already working or aspiring to work within children's residential homes.

Location: London

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum + Expenses

Contract: 1-Year Fixed Term (with potential to extend)

Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver face-to-face teaching and workplace assessments across London.
• Deliver Level 3 Residential Childcare qualifications to employed learners.
• Carry out learner assessments within children's residential homes.
• Support learners through regular reviews, coaching, and constructive feedback.
• Monitor learner progress and ensure qualifications are completed within agreed timescales.
• Maintain accurate learner records and comply with awarding body and funding requirements.
• Deliver evening and weekend sessions where required, with TOIL or reduced weekday hours provided.
• Travel across London to deliver training and complete workplace assessments.

About You

• Occupational competency and hands-on experience within the residential childcare sector.
• Experience working in children's homes or residential childcare settings.
• Experience delivering or assessing Residential Childcare qualifications.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and organisational skills.
• A passion for developing residential childcare professionals.
• The ability to travel across London for learner delivery and workplace assessments.

• Level 3 Diploma for Children & Young People's Workforce

Learners

• Employed learners working within residential childcare settings.
• Delivery primarily during evenings and weekends.
• Maximum cohort size of 20 learners.
• Face-to-face delivery within children's homes and training venues.
