Outstanding contract opportunity to shape the remote access architecture at this famous global retailer across their warehouse, stores and non-production environments. We're looking for a strategic and visionary Remote Access Architect to provide governance and assurance over a global, enterprise wide solution. You will act as the independent authority on solution design, ensuring alignment with the strategic vision, security standards, and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight and governance of remote access patterns, standards, and technical components.
• Ensure the solution delivers on security, compliance, and colleague experience.
• Collaborate with multiple technical teams to oversee the following components:
• Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) - Networks team
• Zscaler Browser Portal Access - Networks team
• Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) - Cloud Hosting & Device/Endpoint Management teams
• AD/Entra ID - Identity & Access Management team
• CyberArk (PAM) - Identity & Access Management team
• Act as the independent reviewer of the end-to-end service owned by the Identity & Access Management team.
• Provide architectural guidance to ensure scalability, resilience, and global coverage for diverse business requirements.
• Champion best practices to balance security, compliance, and usability across all environments.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in solution architecture with a focus on remote access solutions.
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management, networking, and cloud-hosted environments.
• Hands-on expertise with technologies such as Zscaler, Azure Virtual Desktop, AD/Entra ID, and CyberArk.
• Ability to provide independent, strategic oversight across multiple technical domains.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with technical teams and business stakeholders globally.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to balance strategic vision and practical delivery.

£550-600 per day (Inside IR35). 3 months rolling. London & 75% remote
