Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
We are currently recruiting for a professional and organised Receptionist to join a busy corporate environment in Derby.
This role is ideal for an experienced receptionist or front-of-house professional who enjoys delivering excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of a reception area.
Key Responsibilities- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls professionally and efficiently.
- Welcome visitors and contractors, ensuring all sign-in procedures are completed.
- Conduct visitor inductions and issue PPE where required.
- Manage meeting room bookings and schedules.
- Sort, scan and distribute incoming post and documentation.
- Process outgoing mail, including recorded and special deliveries.
- Receive, log and distribute incoming parcels.
- Arrange courier collections and prepare associated documentation.
- Process eye test applications and issue vouchers via email.
- Manage and maintain PPE stock, including issuing Hi-Vis clothing and safety footwear.
- Ensure PPE is organised, cleaned, folded and stored appropriately.
- Previous experience in a reception, front-of-house or administrative role.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and email systems.
- Professional appearance and manner.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- £14.00 per hour PAYE.
- Full-time weekday hours.
