JOB TITLE: Quality Manager

The COMPANY Our client is a well-established engineering sub-contract organisation who have forged a profitable niche for themselves working predominantly within the "Yellow Construction Industry" - diggers, FLT, dumpers, etc. They offer their clients a full engineering solution including laser cutting, press brake, tube bending, fabrication, etc.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for everything quality
• Manage quality team
• Main liaison between client and customers on quality & compliance
• Analyse and review customer performance
• Lead on the development & enforcement of the quality management system ISO9001
• Oversee audits both internal and external
• Visit customer sites for meetings and reviews

Qualifications

• Quality Management experience
• Background within a fabrication environment
• Good engineering knowledge and training
• Willingness to get involved in the "nitty gritty" as well as strategic aspects of the job
• Excellent administration skills

Location

Suffolk. This role is commutable from: Newmarket, Mildenhall, Cambridge, Ely, Bury St Edmunds, Sudbury, Thetford, Haverhill, Lakenheath, Stowmarket, Long Melford, Saffron Walden, Huntingdon, Needham Market
