JOB TITLE: Quality Manager

The COMPANY

Our client is a well-established engineering sub-contractor organisation who have forged a profitable niche for themselves working, predominantly, within the "Yellow Construction Industry" - diggers, FLT, dumpers, etc. They offer their clients a full engineering solution including laser cutting, press brake, tube bending, fabrication, etc.

Role

• Our client are recruiting a Quality Manager, reporting directly to the board, you will be responsible for all aspects of the quality management system - Quality is integral to the ethos of the organisation.
• Assume responsibility for everything quality
• Manage quality team
• Main liaison between Client and customers on quality & compliance
• Analyse and review customer performance
• Lead on the development & enforcement of the quality management system ISO9001
• Oversee audits both internal and external
• Visit customer sites for meetings and reviews

Candidate

• Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Quality Manager possessing the ambition to forge a career within a successful expanding engineering company. You will possess the following skills:
• Quality Management experience
• Background within a Fabrication environment
• Good engineering knowledge and training
• Willingness to get involved in the "nitty gritty" as well as strategic aspects of the job
• Excellent administration skills
