IT Quality Assurance Manager - Part time (50%)

Urgent requirement here for an IT QA Manager with one of the Energy companies.

So far, there have been a few interviews (2). They've been unsuccessful mainly because the main focus for the role is more on the QA side, where candidates tend to have a more QC / Testing focus.

Short summary:

• 1 yr contract
• Start asap
• Brussels location (50% onsite of the 2 or 3 workdays per week)
• Either NL or FR fluent plus English
• €600-€700 per day (indication)

Role:

You will be responsible for designing and coaching on QA vision, strategy, processes, and best practices, to support projects/teams on QA approach and required QA estimations, to create, maintain and provide training.

You will be part of the QAO team, with 2 technical QA architects who will support both you and the projects/teams on the technical, more developer oriented QA aspects. For new projects or large new business features, you and a technical QA architect will support the project team in defining the best fit QA approach and help the project lead in estimating the required QA effort.

Our ideal candidate: is a Quality Assurance Manager with:

• Proven specialisation as QAM
• Comprehensive understanding of both manual and automated testing methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to managing quality assurance, coach and lead in complex software development environments
• Deep understanding of the agile software process and modern software QA practices
• Proven experience in test planning and follow-up
• Proven experience in project management
• Strong in stakeholder management
