Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Dealer Network Development Manager (m/f/d) to lead the establishment and growth of Changan's dealer network in Spain. This pivotal role will involve identifying, evaluating, and on boarding dealership partners to ensure the successful expansion of our brand. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry knowledge, strong relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of developing dealer networks.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive dealer network strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives in Spain.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify potential dealership locations and understand local consumer behaviours, market trends, and competitor networks.
  • Identify and evaluate prospective dealer partners based on financial strength, operational capabilities, market presence, and alignment with the brand's values.
  • Lead negotiations with potential dealers, including contract terms, dealership standards, and investment commitments.
  • Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring dealers meet brand standards and are equipped with the necessary resources to succeed.
  • Ensure all dealerships meet regulatory requirements and adhere to the company's brand guidelines, including facility design, operational processes, and customer experience.
  • Conduct periodic audits to maintain compliance and quality across the network.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or similar qualification.
  • Several years of experience in dealer network development, sales, or business development within the automotive industry.
  • Proven track record of establishing and managing dealer networks in Spain
  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to conduct in-depth market analysis and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English (both written and spoken) is essential.
  • Strong understanding of the Spanish automotive market, including regulatory and cultural nuances.
