Global HSE Compliance Assurance Lead

The HSE Compliance Assurance Lead will lead and coordinate a broad spectrum of work activity concurrently. Through consistent data management and use of standardized processes and tools they will be responsible for leading efforts to maintain compliance, reduce risk and deliver HSE excellence.
This is a key enabling role requiring visionary thinking, strong project management skills, and ability to use data to drive decision to drive sustainable improvement while supporting other HSE activities as assigned to help build one successful HSE organisation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the Compliance Assurance program and digital tools utilization, coordinating cross-functionally to drive consistent application and implementation across the business.
- Lead HSE data management, including ensuring accurate and on-time reporting and closure of HSE metrics and data recorded in the business system of record.
- Have strong analytical and critical thinking skills to lead data trend analysis, to identify and address systematic issues and assist in action plan to drive improvement.
- Drive strategy to proactively maintain compliance, lead continuous improvement to drive operational effectiveness, efficiency, standardisation and risk reduction.
- Ability to coach and mentor HSE community to deliver program excellence.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple issues with competing priorities.
- Remain current and/or develop competencies specific to work-scope.
What you need to bring to the role:
- Occupational Health and Safety degree or Project Management degree or technical equivalent from an accredited university/college.
- Certified HSE professional.
- Experience and demonstrated achievements with HSE programs, digitized systems and industry standards.
- Fluent English and solid communications skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work in a matrix environment, influence and motivate diverse teams to achieve a unified goal.
- Confidently able to facilitate and deliver a variety of HSE topics and/or presentations to a diverse audience.
- Have demonstrated Lean understanding.
- Additional language skills.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Based in one of the hiring locations.
