Locum Social Worker - Adult North Community Mental Health Team

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Locum Social Worker to join the Adult North Community Mental Health Team on an initial 6-month contract.

We are seeking a confident and proactive practitioner who can work effectively within a multi-disciplinary environment alongside health and social care colleagues.

• Complete statutory assessments in line with the Care Act 2014
• Apply the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and relevant legislation to practice
• Manage safeguarding concerns and undertake Section 42 enquiries
• Contribute to effective care planning and risk management
• Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary partners
• Support individuals with complex mental health needs

To Be Considered for the Role, ideally you will have:

• Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work qualification
• Social Work England registration
• Strong assessment and analytical skills
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Organised, reliable, and confident in a fast-paced environment
