Job Description
MS Purview Specialist - Contract
£500-£600 per day Outside IR35 3 months 2 days onsite (Watford)
We're looking for a hands-on Microsoft Purview specialist to stand up data governance across a live Fabric platform.
This is a practical role focused on ownership, definitions, access control, and PII governance, working closely with both tech and business stakeholders.
What you'll do:- Configure and roll out Microsoft Purview
- Implement a fit-for-purpose data governance framework
- Define data ownership, glossary, and key metrics
- Support classification, labelling, and access control
- Ensure PII governance aligned to GDPR
- Embed governance into day-to-day delivery
- Strong hands-on Purview experience (essential)
- Proven data governance delivery in live environments
- Experience handling PII / GDPR
- Confident working with stakeholders to drive alignment and adoption
- Solid understanding of Fabric / Azure data platforms
