Salary: £67,500 - £75,000 per annum (plus comprehensive benefits)
THE ROLEThis full time, permanent position places the successful candidate within a specialist Public Law & Regulation team. The role involves handling complex, high profile matters across a diverse client base that includes central government departments, regulators, arm's length bodies and major organisations operating in regulated sectors such as energy, healthcare, education, water, life sciences, food and drink, and consumer products.
Key responsibilities include judicial review, statutory appeals, constitutional and administrative law, human rights, equalities, statutory interpretation, legislative drafting, regulatory compliance and enforcement, as well as advising on public decision making and governance issues. The workload is varied and intellectually stimulating, with opportunities to work on both contentious and non contentious matters.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Handle public law and regulatory matters across contentious and non contentious work.
- Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice to clients.
- Support partners and senior lawyers, participate in mentoring, and contribute to firm knowledge.
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with up to two years of post qualification experience. Previous public law experience is not essential, but a genuine interest in public law and regulation, strong analytical ability, excellent academic credentials, and outstanding communication skills are required. Candidates should demonstrate intellectual capability and enthusiasm to develop within this complex and rewarding specialism.
