In the role of Public Area Cleaner, you will report to the Head Housekeeper and be responsible for supporting the housekeeping team in the day-to-day running of the department.

Responsibilities

• Keep all public areas neat, vacuumed and dusted, ensuring mirrors, furniture, floors, elevators and doors are clean and mark-free, and removing all trash from areas.
• Regularly check lobby restrooms, ensuring all surfaces are clean and restocking supplies including toilet paper, soap and hand towels.
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries while in the lobby.
• Spot clean all furniture and keep it in its proper place.
• Clean all brass in the public areas.
• Maintain all equipment and supplies and use them in a proper manner.
• Be aware of and make full use of recycling facilities within the service areas.
