Protocol Education is working with a school in North Durham looking for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support pupils with behavioural, emotional and additional needs.

You'll work alongside experienced teachers and support staff, developing practical skills while helping young people engage positively with school.

The Role

You'll support pupils to:

• Manage emotions and behaviour
• Engage positively in learning
• Build confidence and self-esteem
• Develop positive relationships
• Improve communication
• Access classroom activities
• Develop independence
• Overcome barriers to learning

You'll provide a mixture of 1:1, small-group and classroom support, depending on the needs of the pupils.
