Projects & Construction Solicitor

We are working with a leading Projects & Construction team that is looking to appoint a Senior Associate
This role offers a balanced mix of contentious and non-contentious matters, with a clear emphasis on advisory and project delivery work. Candidates must have prior non-contentious construction experience, alongside the ability to support disputes and project issues as they arise. The role involves close collaboration with Real Estate, Banking and Corporate teams and exposure to some of Ireland's most significant projects.
The RoleYou will be involved in:
Advising on a broad range of construction matters, including project procurement, contract strategy, project delivery and mid-stream project issues
Supporting contentious construction matters, including claims, extensions of time (EOT) and dispute-related project advice
Drafting and negotiating construction contracts and related documentation (including building contracts and professional appointments)
Advising on project financing and development agreements, as well as construction elements of wider corporate and real estate transactions
Working directly with developers, contractors, funders and other key stakeholders across major projects
You will ideally have:
4+ years' PQE with experience in projects and construction (law firm or in-house)
Demonstrable non-contentious construction experience (essential)
Exposure to contentious construction matters or project disputes (advantageous)
Experience drafting and negotiating construction contracts (RIAI, NEC and/or professional appointments preferred)
A commercial, solutions-focused approach and strong communication skills
An interest in mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to a collaborative team environment
A genuinely mixed role combining advisory, transactional and dispute-related work
