3PL Distribution EMEA Lead - 4 months - hybrid - Amsterdam

Hi Network,

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Lead 3PL Distribution EMEA to lead our regional distribution operations and Third-Party Logistics (3PL) partners. In this role, you will oversee the strategy, planning and operational execution of the EMEA distribution network across both retail and E-commerce channels, ensuring exceptional service for all customers and partners.

Reponsabilities:

• Lead the EMEA 3PL strategy and oversee daily operations across Central and UK Distribution Centers.
• Ensure high-quality, on-time execution of receiving, shipping, returns, order fulfillment and Value-Added Services.
• Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency and compliance with all EHS standards.
• Manage 3PL budgets, contracts and performance through KPIs, dashboards and regular reviews.
• Lead the network study and partner selection for a new Southern Europe Distribution Center.
• Act as a cultural ambassador and maintain strong relationships with 3PL partners.
• Lead, coach and develop the 3PL Operations Coordinator and future team members.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years experience in distribution or 3PL management.
• 3+ years experience managing operations teams and handling DC or 3PL budgets.
• Strong customer focus and results orientation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to maintain a strategic, big-picture perspective.
• Ability to anticipate the operational impact of decisions across functions.
• Demonstrated initiative, innovation and a willingness to dive into details when needed.
• Ability to travel.
• Fluency in English and German; French, Italian or Spanish are a plus.
