Project Worker Community Families Programme

Liffey Area Partnership CLG is inviting applications for a Project Worker Community Families Programme as part of Child, Family and Community Programmes Department of Liffey Partnership and part of the wider Liffey Partnership integrated services team. This is in line with Liffey Partnership's strategic objectives to deliver a quality, early intervention and prevention service for children and families in the Dublin 10 community.

This role includes:

  • Delivery of the Community Families Home Visiting Programme.
  • Delivery of parenting group supports for parents of children from 0-3 years of age in line with the Community Families programme.
  • Working collaboratively with other agencies in delivery of the Community Families Programme to families in the area.
  • Delivery of a number of positive parenting promoting and engagement initiatives in support of babies and children reaching their key developmental milestones

This post is advertised as a Full time/Part time-1-year fixed term contract.

The successfully shortlisted candidates will have:

  • Experience in working directly with parents and children in homes and community.
  • Knowledge and understanding of children's developmental milestones.
  • Experience of delivering evidence-based parenting programmes.
  • Excellent administration and IT skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as on own initiative.

Qualifications to at least QQI Level 7 in for example, Education, Social Sciences, Health Sciences, Early Years, Medical or a minimum of QQI Level 6 full award and extensive experience in a relevant field/role. Minimum of 2 years' experience of working in a relevant professional field. Salary: Officer Level 2 scale €36,563- €43,269. The successful applicant will enter the scale according to their demonstrated experience and qualifications.
