SimoTech has a new opportunity tojoin a state-of-the-art biopharmaceutical facility in Cork and take the nextstep in your career as an MES PAS-X Engineer. This role offers the opportunityto combine Electronic Batch Record (EBR) design and development with hands-onproduction support, ensuring reliable operations for critical manufacturingprocesses.

KeyResponsibilities

• Provide MES support toproduction, resolving issues promptly to maintain manufacturing continuity.
  
• Participate in systemtesting, commissioning, and validation activities to ensure operationalreadiness.
  
• Implement changes and siteprojects under the client change management process.
  
• Work closely withcross-functional teams to optimise MES workflows and identify opportunities forimprovement.
  
• Ensure all system changesand configurations are fully documented and compliant with GMP requirements.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in engineering, ComputerScience, Information Systems, or a related discipline.3+ years' experienceworking with Körber PAS-X MES, including EBR development.
  
• Demonstrated ability to provide productionsupport and troubleshoot MES-related issues effectively.
  
• Good understanding of manufacturing processesand GMP principles.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and the abilityto work under time-sensitive conditions.
  
• Excellent communication skills and provenexperience working in cross-functional and hybrid team environments.
  
• Experience with MES system integration (e.g.,ERP, DCS, Labelling, etc.) or automation systems is preferable.
