- Rate of Pay: £15.46 per hour (paid weekly)
- Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
- Work Pattern: Hybrid (2 days in the office, 3 days from home)
Our client, a reputable organisation committed to flood risk management and environmental enhancement, is hiring a dedicated Project Support Officer to join their dynamic team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that protect communities and improve the environment.
What you'll be doing:- Supporting project delivery across flood risk management schemes and environmental projects
- Assisting Project Managers with administrative, financial, data, and organisational tasks
- Handling and processing data, creating GIS layers, and setting up project workspaces
- Organising meetings, taking minutes, and preparing notices and newsletters
- Ordering site signage and running reports to track project progress
- Accompanying Project Managers on site visits and supporting incident response activities
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle data accurately and efficiently
- Willingness to learn about EA legislation, policies, and project management practices
- Flexibility to respond to incidents and support business continuity when needed
- Experience with GIS or data management tools is advantageous
- Enthusiasm for environmental projects and community impact
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently
