These projects, with budgets up to £10 million, play a vital role in ensuring sustainable and resilient water services for our customers.You'll work across a range of complex projects, leading multidisciplinary teams and managing delivery from early planning through to completion. This is a varied role where you'll have the opportunity to make a real and lasting impact. What you will be responsible for: Leading projects from planning through to delivery, ensuring time, cost and quality targets are met Developing and maintaining robust project plans, schedules and milestones Coordinating internal teams and external partners to ensure aligned delivery Managing risks, issues and dependencies to support successful project outcomes Delivering clear and accurate project reporting and forecasts Building strong relationships with stakeholders to support collaboration and decision-making Supporting programme-level planning alongside Senior Project Managers and Programme Managers Additional requirements specific to the role: Hybrid role with travel across sites and project locations Occasional site visits to support delivery and compliance What you'll bring to the role: Essential Proven experience delivering infrastructure, utilities or construction projects Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Experience managing project risks, budgets and schedules Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and drive delivery outcomes Understanding of health & safety requirements within a project environment Desirable Experience within the water or regulated utilities sector Understanding of project delivery within AMP cycles Knowledge of NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4) Relevant qualification in project management (e.g. APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent) About Southern Water Southern Water is at the forefront of transforming Britain's water industry, investing significantly to enhance resilience, sustainability, and service excellence.
