Job Description
Change management including NEC Compensation Events and Early Warnings both down to the supply chain and up to the client including contingency management.
Key Responsibilities:- Management of Compensation Events to the client including cost and time resolution.
- Management of Early warning notices to the client.
- Chair early warning and compensation event meetings with the client.
- Reporting on status of all compensation events and early warning notices.
- Liaison with project commercial team to ensure change is managed correctly in the supply chain and issues are identified for resolution with the client.
- Review package level contingency to ensure this is reflective of likely change.
- Review of cost reporting to ensure all change is accurately recorded.
- Audit backup for supply chain compensation events.
- Works with project controls team to review project/programme contingency.
- Establish and manage the project/programme contingency change control process.
- Knowledge of contract management systems such as CEMAR and Aconnex
- NEC Contract and change process knowledge
- Experience of direct negotiation with the client
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for a highly collaborative working environment.
- Recent experience of relevant construction projects
- Degree in commercial/ construction or law.
