About the role

As a Portfolio Management Office Support, you will play a crucial role in ensuring clear visibility of all planned projects and programs and overseeing their delivery within cost, time, and quality parameters. Utilizing the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool, you will facilitate resource planning, track project milestones, manage risks, and oversee financials. Collaboration with (Tech) Product Owners and Project Managers is essential for successful planning and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize the PPM tool for resource planning, tracking project milestones, managing risks, and overseeing financials.
  • Collaborate with (Tech) Product Owners and Project Managers to ensure successful planning and project deployment.
  • Escalate portfolio issues and risks to the DT PMO Manager.
  • Support in sub-portfolio reviews with senior managers to ensure quality and accuracy of Project Portfolios.
  • Assist in the preparation of governance presentations.
  • Review planned versus actuals for Projects within Portfolios and work through issues with respective owners.
  • Act as a single point of contact for PPM tool training for Product Owners.
  • Bridge communication between Finance, PMO, and the GDP community to ensure clear project cost structures and setup.
  • Partner with GDP Product Owners to ensure accurate portfolio management tool utilization and analyze the overall financial position.
  • Collaborate with the Global Petcare PMO & Support Services team and the MGS DT Strategic Portfolio Management team to maintain a consistent Portfolio Management approach.

Required Qualifications

  • Business analyst certification and project management training are preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in IT.
  • Experience in business analysis, systems design, application integration, and testing.
  • Project management experience in IT projects.
  • Knowledge of IT solutions and/or relevant business areas.
