Working with industry-leading diagnostic technologies, you'll provide expert application support, training, troubleshooting, and system optimisation to laboratories across South Wales and occasionally throughout the UK.

The Role

As a Product Support Application Specialist, you will join the central application team, supporting key customer accounts throughout South Wales. This customer-facing, field-based role combines technical expertise, training, and problem-solving to ensure customers maximise the performance of their diagnostic solutions.

You'll primarily support chemistry and immunoassay analysers, while benefiting from additional training opportunities across Molecular and Tissue Diagnostics platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver implementation and installation support for laboratory systems.
• Provide end-user training to laboratory scientists and healthcare professionals.
• Troubleshoot technical and application-related issues, delivering reactive support when required.
• Optimise laboratory workflows and system performance through consultation and expert guidance.
• Support product maintenance, software updates, and analytical reviews.
• Collaborate with internal teams during tenders, demonstrations, customer consultations, and third-party engagements.
• Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor.

Essential Requirements

• Experience within medical diagnostics, pathology laboratories, or healthcare technology.
• Strong understanding of laboratory practices and diagnostic workflows.
• Proven troubleshooting and technical support experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Valid passport and willingness to travel across the UK when required.
