Location: Grimsby

Contract Length: 3 months

Hourly Rate: £24 Per hour PAYE

Introduction:

Our client, a prominent organisation in the manufacturing sector, is seeking an experienced Production Controller to oversee and enhance production processes. This position is based in Grimsby and offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to make a significant impact within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
• Analyse production data to prepare reports on performance metrics, identifying trends and potential issues.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
• Facilitate communication between departments to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
• Support the training and development of production staff to foster a skilled workforce.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Production Controller or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and performance metrics.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools for production management.
