Summary

Leeson Group is looking for an experienced Product Owner / Business Analyst to join our product team. This is a genuine opportunity to shape the technology that underpins our claims operation. The successful candidate will combine strong product ownership with excellent business analysis skills: owning and prioritising the roadmap, working closely with stakeholders, and translating operational processes into clear, well-defined requirements that our technical delivery team can act on.

Our approach to delivering the next generation of our Claims Management Platform continues to evolve, and the exact shape of this role may adapt as that approach develops.

What we are looking for

We're looking for an experienced Product Owner / Business Analyst who can bridge the gap between the business and the team delivering our software. Working alongside our Head of Product, you will own all areas of our Claims Management Platform, managing priorities, making day-to-day decisions and ensuring the right solutions are delivered.

You will be organised, pragmatic and comfortable managing competing priorities. Experience within insurance, financial services or another enterprise software environment would be an advantage.

Keyresponsibilities
  • Ownthefunctional areas of the Claims Management Platform, including the backlog or configuration roadmap and the day-to-day priority decisions within them.
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements, challenge where appropriate, and define business priorities.
  • Write and refine clear requirements - as epics, user stories and acceptance criteria, or as functional and configuration specifications - so work is ready for delivery.
  • Own day-to-day prioritisation for yourareas andcontribute to the roadmap and release planning alongside our Head of Product.
  • Act as the primary link between the business andtheteambuilding or configuring thenext generation of ourplatform.
  • Lead the relevant delivery rituals as needed - sprint planning, backlog refinement and other Agile ceremonies, and/or configuration activity and change-request management - depending on how the platform is being delivered.
  • Monitor delivery progress, communicate risks andissues, and help remove delivery impediments.
  • Champion simple, intuitive solutions that improve the experience of our users.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across operations, business development and customer support to ensure the platform continues to meet business needs.
Essentialrequirements
  • Eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland.
  • At least five years' experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or similar product/delivery role.
  • Strong experience working within Agile delivery environments (Scrum or similar).
  • Proven experience managing a backlog of requirements using epics, features, user stories or equivalent structured methods.
  • Extensive experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria or functional/configuration specifications.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience.
Desirablerequirements
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience configuring or implementing SaaS or enterprise platforms.
  • Ability to produce wireframes or low-fidelity UI designs using Figma, Balsamiq, Adobe XD or similar tools.
  • Professional certifications in Product Management, Business Analysis, Scrum or other Agile methodologies.
