What you'll do
As the Product Manager of Digital Content, you'll be at the forefront of shaping the future of our digital content experiences in-store. Driving change that redefines how we interact with our customers.
In this role, you're a visionary. Collaborating closely with key stakeholders and technology providers you'll be a key player in crafting our technology vision, make data driven decisions, and owning our roadmap. You're the driving force behind delivering innovative features that impact millions of customers.
But that's not all. You'll dive deep into understanding our customers' and business users' needs and devising strategies that strike the perfect balance between customer satisfaction and commercial success to deliver the Sainsbury's strategy. With your knack for creative problem-solving and a passion for experimentation, you'll push boundaries, constantly seeking ways to enhance the customer experience.
Working in agile teams, you'll forge strong partnerships with engineering, external partners, experience design and key stakeholders, collaborating seamlessly to bring your vision to life. Working cross-functionally, influencing roadmaps and spearheading large-scale initiatives that shape the future of Sainsbury's.
What You Need To Do
Refine, prioritise and showcase the product roadmap, working with stakeholders to understand value and partnering with our awesome engineers, experience design and a broader cross functional team.
Manage the product backlog, crafting epics, user stories and acceptance criteria
Adopt product excellence thinking at all stages of the Product Lifecycle. Prioritising the value of measurable outcomes over output.
Build great relationships with our technology partners, ensuring our content management tooling is delivering maximum value and influencing their roadmap.
You'll help define evaluation criteria to validate that products work for customers & colleagues as designed and that value is delivered.
You'll prioritise opportunities for the product keeping in mind value delivery, efficiency savings and technical foundations
Evaluate how we can support customers and colleagues further with interactive content experiences
Monitor relevant industry trends and engage both internal and external teams as appropriate to build shared insight
How You Will Succeed
You are able to work within a scrum team with amazing engineers and experience design colleagues, managing a backlog, crafting epics and user stories.
Deeply understands how to apply agile practices; scrum, lean, kanban, design thinking, etc. You understand and can apply a variety of priority decision making tools and frameworks.
You're relentlessly focused on understanding, anticipating and exceeding our customers needs
You are able to collaborate effectively with other teams, customers and stakeholders where necessary
You can build a roadmap and articulate a product vision using tools and methods, such as a vision board
You're technically curious - you ask the right questions to drive better solutions and can translate between customer requirements and technology delivery
You get data - using product metrics to prioritise effectively and seek out the right information to make strategic decisions
You keep an eye on the commercials - get what makes a product viable and can articulate the business benefits
You're a team player, always up for contributing to building a great culture at Sainsbury's tech
